Why 3D printing makes a difference.

Conventional furniture manufacturing works with compromises. Shapes are limited by machines, tools, and production lines that are geared towards efficiency, not the human body. 3D printing knows no such limitations. With the Flow Chair, this potential was utilized from the ground up. The flowing silhouette and organic seat geometry are not design decisions that were retrospectively forced into a manufacturing method. They arose directly from it, through numerous iterations, targeted material studies, and continuous testing under real conditions. What you order is printed, checked, and shipped for you. One material. One cycle.

Recycled PETG is a thermoplastic plastic that was originally developed for food packaging. This makes it safe, non-toxic, and food-safe. As a furniture material, it brings exceptional properties: impact-resistant, durable, dimensionally stable under load, and significantly lighter than comparable metal or wood constructions.

The decisive advantage lies in its circularity. A chair made of metal, foam, fabric, and plastic theoretically consists of recyclable materials, but in practice, it almost always ends up in the trash. The materials are inextricably linked, and no one has the time or the facility to separate them. The Flow Chair consists of a single material, without glue, without connection points, without compromises. At the end of its life, it can be melted down and processed into new PETG.
